Bonnie M.K. Donato, PhD, is a health economist with more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Her expertise in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) spans global, regional, and U.S. roles, where she has led teams responsible for developing and executing value evidence strategies and evidence generation programs. Her work focuses on demonstrating the economic and humanistic value of healthcare interventions for patients, providers, and the broader healthcare system, supporting informed decision-making and patient access.
Dr. Donato joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 2018 as Executive Director, HEOR Value Demonstration for Cardio-Renal-Metabolic diseases. She is widely recognized for her leadership in the HEOR field and has an extensive record of publications and presentations advancing health economic and outcomes research.
