Khaled is a drug development scientist with extensive expertise in evidence generation and healthcare data science. He has built and led multidisciplinary teams of epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and AI/ML experts to deliver end-to-end evidence across therapeutic areas and development phases.
Currently, Khaled serves as Global Head of Evidence Generation and Advanced Analytics at Astellas Pharma, where he leads Exploratory Statistical Science, Medical Affairs Statistical Science, and Real-World Evidence teams to accelerate data-driven decision-making.
Prior to Astellas, he held leadership roles in data science and real-world evidence at Johnson & Johnson, Roche/Genentech, and Eli Lilly.
